Villagers won't write back???

For the past three days I've been sending villager letters. Just random stuff. Sometimes with a gift attached, sometimes not. But I still have yet to get a letter back. Coco showed me a letter a I her.. I have no clue what's going on.

This happened to me with Astrid. I wrote her several long letters with gifts attached, and she didn't reply to a single one. People told me that sometimes villagers just don't write back.

Villagers don`t alwasy write back, even if you attached a gift to the letter. They are more likely to write back the higher your friendship with them is, but still not guaranteed.

That happens to me with Merengue sometimes. She sometimes writes me random letters on the days I forget to write, but they're not replies to the ones I send to her.

Darn it Merengue, we're supposed to be best friends >.<

I think this has happened to me only once. I had Charlise in my town, and I HATED her. So I decided to send her a hateful letter. It went something like this:

"Ugh, Charlise.

Listen. I hate you. Don't bother even talking to me ever again. Go somewhere else to live."

I was kinda hoping to see some kind of letter from her saying how my letter really inspired her or some nice reply back or something like that, but there was no reply. The next day, some villager told me that Charlise wanted to move. I got her ping and told her to move. Today, she's in boxes rn

never experienced this. but the longest my villagers took to reply was 3 days
