I have a perfect town which I believed (possibly wrongly, I don't know) discouraged villagers from wanting to move. But every day that I play one of my animals will ask to move out! I play multiple "days" in a single day, if that makes sense. So today, Maple and Cube both asked to move. Yesterday it was Rosie (who also asked some time last week!), the day before Klaus. The only villager who hasn't asked yet is Fuchsia and I suspect that is because she was the last one to move in, about 7 (game days) ago.

I'll want to replace my villagers EVENTUALLY but right now I really want to stay at ten. Does this mean they're unhappy with me? I'm afraid that one of them might disappear without letting me know at all :( I almost missed Hopper because he never pinged me, I only found out because Baabara said something the day before he was planning to leave.

Why don't my animals want to live in my town :'(

You'll get those requests regardless of your town status. Every 2-3 days a villager will be tagged as a move-out, and they'll request it. Nothing you can do about it.

I've heard, not sure if this is correct or not, that once you hit a certain friendship level with your villagers, they want to move out and send you their pic in their mail. In other words, the more friendly you are with them, the more likely they are to move out. Again, I HAVE NO CLUE IF THIS IS CORRECT OR NOT

It's their own personal way to show you that they love you. They want you to hold them from moving :>

But..everyday? It typically goes like this: I start up my town, play for a bit, someone asks to move. I say no. Finish my daily tasks. Save and quit. TT to the next morning, and before I've gotten 100 steps away from my house, someone else pings to move. I say no. Later in that same day, another ping to move. I say no. Save and quit, TT to the next morning, rinse and repeat.

I'm just concerned because in my last town I could not for ANYTHING get anyone to move out when I wanted them to. So this just seems abnormal.

So you're TTing to play those multiple days?

Yeah. I only ever TT to the next day, never several weeks forward at a time or anything like that. Never backwards and I'm fairly certain never more than twice in a 24hour (real time) period.

Any time you TT you're going to get more move out requests. And if you have high friendship levels with most of your villagers it just adds more fuel to the flame so to speak.

So I was right!

Sorry if that sounded mean or cocky, but I've wondered about that for a while

no, it should not be happening every day. mine take up to 5 days to ask to move sometimes. not sure whats goign on with your copy, but yes, higher the friendship the more likely they are to ask to move out.

My favorite villagers, and the ones I have good bonds with, constantly ask to leave. It kinda hurts, but it's really pretty random.

Okay :( I'm just worried about missing one and having someone leave without my knowing. Constant vigilance it is then!
