Villagers who are visiting my house don't go into my other rooms?

This is actually really upsetting. :c I've looked it up but there's NOTHING about it. Anyone know what's going on?

And yes, the entrances to my other rooms are partially obstructed but I doubt it's this, because Marina has gone past once. Plus, they can still go up and downstairs. No, these are not random visitors.

So yeah.
Help?

Take them in. Go into another room and they'll follow.

Probably have to unobstruct the entrances. Seems like Marina was the exception. Give it a try anyway.

sometimes they just stand in the doorway, try rotating your camera to see if they're there?

If they come to your house unannounced,they'll just stay in your first room and leave after a few minutes(and they usually give you a gift).

alright, i'll try the unobstructing thing since that seems to be the most legit thing. still upset, though D:< if my villagers can frekaing teleport to a private beach why can't they go to my other rooms??

I had this problem before. It seems that the villagers can only enter the next room in a specific direction, so if there's an obstruction somewhere they can't reach the room (even though they technically can if they walk round a different way). If you rearrange some furniture to remove the obstruction, then your villagers should be able to go to your rooms just fine. Hope you can fix it with no problems!

If they mention about wanting to see the other rooms if you spam-talk them, theyll follow you if you go to another room.
