If I had a villager I liked (not loved) but their house was in a bad spot (like Chief's house right now) I would let them go.

I let Naomi and Broccolo go because I didn't like the latter's design, and the former because I'm not fond of bovine villagers in general.

Hamprey was my first cranky in NewLeaf but I decided to let him go since I needed a cranky cat.
So I allowed him to go in order to get Tom, the cranky cat.

Punchy - I already have him in my main town and why have 2?
Tangy - Couldn't get attached to her so I gave her to a friend.
Walt - Told him to move so I could get Lolly in my town.
Paula - She was too close to my mayor's house and I absolutely don't want her.
Olivia, Anthony, Truffles - I wanted to get new villagers.

Frank- Just didn't care for him too much.
Bam- Kinda was iffy with him but transferred him over to Ruby.
Apollo- He was a friend's voided villager. Would've kept him but he was hacked.
Agnes- Kinda got bored with her.
Frita- She was cool, but I wanted some other uchi.
Ankha- Would've kept her but her house was in an awkward spot behind town hall.
In Ruby:
Elise- House was in the way of a PWP area.
Scoot- House was in the way of a PWP area, was replaced by Bam.
Biskit- Lost in a TT accident... Still grieving. ;~;
