Villagers' Wallpaper

Do villagers ever change their wallpaper if we send them different ones?

they havent in previous games, and so far no one has gotten them to do it in this one. i dont think so :/

As crimisakitty said they haven’t in past games and nobody has gotten them to do it now, u could try mailing the villager a wallpaper you want them to use? I don’t think we will be able to though :/

Yeah, I remember villagers not changing their wallpapers in prior games. I was just hoping that was one of the new additions to the game.

I asked this yesterday and no one replied but I gave several of my villagers wallpaper and flooring through mail and in person and have had no luck ( I was hoping it wasn't true.

My favorite villager Nibbles has AWFUL wallpaper and I'm sad bc I wanted to help her out

They did in Wild World.

It's one of the first things I would do if I didn't like the villagers wall or flooring. You mailed it to them and they would change it.

It didn't work in NL though, but I was hoping they would bring that WW option back in NH.

Yes I loved doing this in ww! I assumed they brought it back since the first 5 villagers have such bland wallpaper and flooring

I believe they could in WW. I'll try giving my villagers wallpaper next time I can and check the results, but I guessing they won't change.
