Villagers visit to your house

Hi guys, I had Erik visited once to my home and later on he asked me to visit his home . That kinda fun .
What about you guys? Is it random villager visit to your home? I haven’t got any villager after Erik.
Is there limit like once in a week, two weeks or a month they can visit?

My first visiter was Chief, and we hung out for awhile, then he left. Then after teturning to my house after a bit again, Marshal decided to visit

Then he next day I hung out with Kid Cat! I love how they visit, or invited over. But no, I don't think there's a limit

If it's like the old games, whenever you're in your house for some time there's a pretty good chance someone pops in, haha. The first time I booted up the game for the update, before I had done anything else, I walked into my house and Goldie decided to visit right away.

And because it was the first thing I had done in months, my house was still infested with cockroaches, and she just said "AAAAH COCKROACH" and left immediately, lmao.

Marshal's visited me twice since I took care of that though, it's very cute to see him on my couch or at the piano!

Audie showed up when I was trying to organize my storage, and Bud invited me over. Those are my only two experiences of the sort so far.

Aurora and Murphy have come over, and then Aurora and Reneigh have invited me over!

pashmina keeps visiting me when i'm just popping into my house for a brief moment, it's really bothersome at this point bc i feel like i have to stay there for a while with her lol. she even invites herself over if i talk to her outside... oddly, none of my other villagers even come visit at all, even ones i give presents to and talk to more often.

I had Sterling and Tucker both come over yesterday, and Tucker actually gave me his photo as a gift it's the first villager photo I've had ever!

So I don't think there's a limit. I'm glad that they can visit all the rooms in your house, cause on the first day when Cube visited he wouldn't go into any of the other rooms, but they seem to after the first visit

mitzi asked to come to my house twice yesterday so i don’t think there’s a limit. she asks when im busy but i don’t have the heart to say no to her, at least she gives me company.

I haven’t had anyone visit my house yet but I really like the feature and it give the villagers more personality or opportunity to interact and learn more about them.

I'm barely at home so I've only gotten two surprise visits so far. The very first one was Bob and the other was Punchy. The other was not a surprise, but a request from Sterling.

Sterling was the only one who followed me to every room though.

I haven’t figured out the frequency. Sometimes I spend a bunch of time at home and no one shows up, and other times, villagers pop over quickly. I haven’t spent that much time in my house this week though, outside from some clean up right after the update.

There's no limit as far as I can tell. All I know is that villagers with whom I have high friendships have come to my house/invited me over the most. I think it just has to do with how many friendships you have, their progression, and what times you're in your house!

Thanks for this. I was actually going to ask why none of my visitors wanted to go in any of my other rooms - turns out, both of them were surprise pop-ins so that's why neither of them would leave my main room. I haven't had anyone request to stop over yet, or invite me to their house for that matter.
