villagers that you will never ever kick out?

Vesta- I got her through an amiibo trade with another member on here they got one of my amiibo villagers while I got Vesta. It was on my previous Island and Vesta came with me.

Dom- my starter villager. I love his face and he makes me happy every time I see him.

Renee- I saw her on a mystery Island early on in the game on my previous Island and wanted her. The others I shared it with said no they didn’t want her. After I got my new switch and my own Island It took me awhile to find her. Took a lot of frustration searching nookazon. I finally found her and ungifted. The person I got her from was very nice. I just really love how she looks. Her surfer girl attitude is great her house is cute on the outside and skull wallpaper on the inside. She makes me happy.

Lucky- my favorite villager. I liked him instantly and I’ve never changed my mind. I just love everything about him.

Dotty- She resembles one of my irl bunnies and I just like her. Her house is cute and I like it when she calls me wee one.
 
Lucky, Kabuki, and Tangy are never allowed to move. I love Lucky's whole aesthetic and the lazy personality really suits him. Tangy has quickly become my favourite peppy villager. And Kabuki has always been one of my favourite villagers in general, his design is just really good!
 
I have four permanent villagers on my island. They are all penguins. Flo, Hopper, Wade and Aurora.
 
Every single one of my villagers is eligible to leave just as long as they've gifted me their picture. The only villagers to which I'm firmly attached are Molly, Merengue, and Stitches, but I've got their Amiibo cards, so can invite them back at any time.
 
At the moment it's only Fang and Lucky that I have no desire to see move on. I've had Fang from a campsite visit and I recently acquired his photo plus hes my neighbour so hes staying. Lucky is fairly new but I just love him so much. I have 2 other lazies on my island (zucker and ozzie) and I really only need 1 as they say the same things pretty much anyway.
 
Unless I mess up their houses, here are my keepers and future keepers. I already had to kick out Roscoe once, Merry once, Rudy twice x.x but he had starter house which i didn’t like so it was inevitable.

Punchy: My BFF. Got the best sassy expression ever 🥰 and his bewilderment expression (as well as expressions as a whole) is adorable. My only regret is not finding him on an island and using my amiibo card for him and Roscoe. Either way, he’s never leaving. We had too many memories in NL and now NH even though I do not appreciate his bug friends or dialogue.

Kiki: Punchy’s girl. I didn’t like her as long as Punchy but still liked her back when I was playing NL and took a chance by adopting her. She grew on me and became my second favorite cat villager. I love her and I don’t mind the normal dialogue in NH; she reminds me of myself with anxiety except not annoying and extremely cute when she is nervous ^.^. Also, I live her squished looking nose.

Raymond: Never leaving because he is another one of my top favorites and because someone who didn’t want him to leave their island at the time, sold me him when I got no response from the guy selling their Raymond (no accept or reject responses). I am forever in their debt and am grateful that he let me have him even though he was really fond of him. I just love his toothy grin and grumpy cat look ^.^; he melts my heart when he smiles.

Rudy: He was my starter and initially I thought he wasn’t excited about him since he was a jock (but I was happy that I had a cat villager for a starter). The minute I talked to him and heard his jock voice with the little meow sound, he won me over though I didn’t know how much I’d like him so i gave him a bunch of items. Fortunately his starter house was bad so I kicked him out with a card and moved him back in, only to mess it up again by giving him a viking helmet which he only wore once :(. I love him so much and am glad I gave him a chance. His expressions are so cute especially his happy and angry expressions and his derpy spacing out expression.

Ankha: Don’t have her yet but had her in NL and in spite of claiming to not like snooties, I loved her. I love Egyptian and/or Middle Eastern cultural/historical references so I always appreciated her design.

Marshal: Don’t have him yet but I had him in Nl and miss him so much. I love how he looks like a cranky even though he was a smug; I did not like smugs for a long time in NL since I did not like Keaton, but Marshal helped me change my mind (not on Keaton but about smugs). I just love his cheeks and his puffy tail. 😊

Rosie & or Merry: Two of my other favorite cats also from NL. I was so sad when I accidentally let Rosie leave; I had Merry replace her. I love them both though I don’t care for the peppy dialogue in NH as much as I did in NL. I am now debating letting one of them and/or Sherb, Roscoe go even though they are all dreamies and I really don’t want to. There are just so many other villagers I’d like to invite and possibly keep.

Maybe keep:

Roscoe: would be a 100% keep but his cranky singing voice annoys me so much and he sings all the time.

Sherb: I love him so much but I think I might want to replace him with Dom eventually. I’m giving this a lot of thought before I make a decisions since he doesn’t have an amiibo. I never liked any of the goat villagers but this little guy grew on me as I saw more pictures of him and heard other people’s opinions. I also didn’t like Dom initially either lol. This is a really tough decision. I’d love to have them both and not let either of them leave.
 
Zucker. Always Zucker

I have his amiibo card (I'm really so lucky!!) and I love him to death. Idk about Jerimah, he's a king and I love him but I would replace him with like, Sherb or something. Also as you can tell by my profile I really like Cheri, but I don't have her in my town. I have a long list of dreamies and villagers I want, but my main dreamies are Coco, Raymond, Zucker, and Cheri.
 
Hornsby: Since he has a starter home that I know I will never get again, I won't kick him out just so I can get another villager.
Hopper: I love my little cranky penguin.

Deirdre is probably also on the list, since she's the only sisterly I've found so far that I don't find ugly and her home interior is nice too.
 
I've kicked a few out to reset their home/wardrobe. Likely going to have to do that again because someone displayed their design at my Ables and now they won't stop wearing it.

Nonetheless, these are permanent residences on my island:

Felicity - A tale of enemies to lovers as old as time... well not exactly. She just placed her home right next to mine and destroyed my flower patch in NL. Not the best first impression at all, but I grew to like her enough to buy her amiibo card in anticipation for NH.

Bones - Pretty much my childhood friend. I had him in my very first village way back in 2003. I've had him at some point in every game after. Being a permanent resident in NL and now NH. Hands down the best dog ever.

Kyle - Fell for him immediately once I saw him in the promo gameplay for NL. I vibed with his aesthetic and needed him badly. He's still one of my top favorites and I bought his amiibo card as well when buying Felicity's.

Eugene - I always wanted him in NL, but could never really find him anywhere. I thought he was really cool as well and always imagine him and Kyle as a duo, not unlike the Blues Brothers. I've fallen for him even more in NH... you just have to see him without the sunglasses.

Dobie - I really wasn't expecting to keep him, only until I got his photo... but that was months ago. I had Dobie once before, when he was an islander back in the Gamecube game. We both look like tired old gramps and I like that very much.

Both Olivia and Cherry are a hard maybe, I like their designs and I've been making headcanons for them as well. I really wish there were more slots for villagers.
 
I used to think I’d never kick anyone out, but now I’m on a quest to get more pictures so now I’m thinking everyone is replaceable if I can get cute enough replacements
 
Lolly, Raymond, Rosie, and Merry so far, because my all cat island is slowly coming to fruition. Also, Lolly and Raymond are my favorite villagers, period. I'd like to mention that two different awesome people here at TBT gifted me both Lolly and Raymond, which I will always be so very grateful for. My cat island of Nyan wouldn't be complete without them! 🥰 💕
 
I absolutely love Roald! Also, I just got Stitches (with an amiibo) and I am working on getting a few others I love and will never kick them out.
 
My lad marshal! He was my first camper and I was so shocked and excited and a whole bunch of emotions when I walked through that tent opening. He and I have a bond and he is never leaving.

I have some strong attachments to all my villagers recently. I haven’t let anyone move out in months. Maybe one day I’ll start letting them leave one by one again so I can island hop and meet other villagers.
