Villagers that should be renamed

What villagers do you think should be named something else?

I think Olaf should have been named Michael because he resembles Michael Jackson
I think Cherry should have kept her original Japanese name, which was Hanna

Carmen should definitely have her name changed, it's already the name of a mouse villager that was discontinued and it bugs me to no end that they'd recycle a name like that for no apparent reason; I guess they just forgot. No other villagers are coming to mind, but if the same thing happened to any others they should have their name changed as well.

I don't understand why Whitney was renamed from Bianca and the name Bianca was given to Koyuki. Why didn't they just rename Koyuki Whitney instead of doing the Bianca Shuffle?

I think Olaf should be renamed to something Spanish-related, since he looks like a matador. I do know that his Japanese name is Antonio, but there's no chance of him being named after his Japanese name since there's another villager who Antonio as their English name.

Maybe Olaf being named Michael instead could also work, but yet at the same time I don't think it's the best idea... to be honest, it's mostly because I feel like the only one who doesn't see the resemblance between him and Michael Jackson, haha.

Cally should be given her original name, Sally, back. Impostor Sally should be given a different name. Why did they do that in the first place? How difficult was it to come up with a name that wasn't Sally?

New Sally was originally Hazel, but I feel like Sally is a better name for Hazel, and Cally is a better name for Sally.

Champ should have a name related to Porter.

I also don't like Agent S, Big Top, Kid Cat, but I don't like those villagers anyway so I don't really care.

I really don't like the idea that some of the animals are named after things that are made out of them. Every time I talk to those villagers it makes me thing their parents must have hated them.

Imo Goose being named Goose is great, despite it being such a dumb name. Love the guy.

The whole mess with Hazel, Cally and Sally is really annoying. They could have avoided the name swaps entirely.

Hippeaux's name change is probably one of the most useless choices made for the game. God forbid there's a hippo named David, that name isn't punalicious enough.

I agree about the whole Cally, Sally and Hazel thing. I don't get why Nintendo keeps naming the villagers similar names. There are so many names in the world, you'd think they would try to avoid repeats or similar sounding names.

I also hate the name Broffina. I would change her name to Brenda or something.
