Villagers that have become more popular in New Horizons

I think maybe Hazel? She was fairly popular before but I never noticed her fanclub until now haha
I have watched Hazel go from the bottom (now she's here) up to like B Tier. I see people looking for her and getting all excited for her. It's neat.

I love her to death even though she's mean to me.

Honestly, the biggest surprise for me was Pietro. I recall him being hated by many in the old games. But that's probably just me.

There was a reddit member who started doing these photo manipulations of Roald in different locations and situations counting down to the release of New Horizons.
Those were extremely popular on the AC subreddit and I think that's what brought Roald a lot of attention.

I was also going to say Apollo. I had no idea he was popular at all and all of a sudden, I see many people ask about him.
Katt and Hazel are a neat surprise because I remember people hating on them back in NL and I think Katt is the best Uchi and my bff.

Merry became more popular, which I think is fair tbh.
She's super cute and I like her more than Rosie.

I’m so happy for Merry and her stupid face!!! 🥰 She’s so cute I wanna punch her every time I see her. She makes me feel the same way I feel about Rudy and his dopey smiley face. I wanna just punch them both then hug them real tight. 🤣
That's some cute aggression right there. lol...

I'm glad my girl Hazel is getting the respect she deserves... *wipes tear proudly*

To be honest, the new graphics/outfits some of the characters got really increased their overall appeal. I personally didn't care for Poppy until this game, because she looks really good in this game. Her new outfit really fits her.

I haven't seen the Roald love, but I have seen Katt get much more love then she ever did in NL. I'm still not a huge fan of her myself, but she does seem slightly more appealing. I think it's her new outfit - it fits her so much better than her old one.

Bianca is another one who seems to have rose in popularity lately. I admit, I've gotten on this train myself; she's actually become my favorite peppy whereas I didn't really give her much of a thought before.
