Villagers spreading rumors!

A lot of villagers tell me rumors about me and I have no idea what they mean like being an "Civic Leader", or a "Bell Pincher",

What are some rumors your villagers told you, that you don't understand?

Bell pincher means you don't spend many bells in town.
Civic leader means you're good at your mayoral duties.

I'm a fly swatter, I guess. I'm not even sure how they got this idea. Is it because I'm always chasing them around when they get fleas? (Oh, Canberra...) I don't even have the fly in my encyclopedia yet, though, so I don't know...

I used to think of pro-listener as an eavesdropper for some reason, and I was like "What? I never eavesdrop on villagers!" because I really never do. It was only a while ago I actually thought about it and realized that it probably meant I'm a good listener. //oops, I over-thought that one

Mine tend to go back and forth between calling me a pro-listener or a stump-maker. I'd love to be a green thumb, although I suppose civic leader would be the one to really shoot for.

I keep waiting to hear what my new rumour is, the last I heard I was a flower fan but I've since switched to the Beautiful Town ordinance so I probably don't warrant that anymore.
