Villagers of the Same Species

Gizmodo, I blame you! I had nothing for or against sheep villagers before I joined this forum. I have Wendy in my main town (the one I play in real time) and I think she's great. I'd be very recluctant to let her leave, but she's never asked to go yet, so I won't worry about that now. In my second town I have Vesta and will have Frita on Saturday (if the other person comes through and let's me invite her to my village). I'm on the look out for Pietro, too, and I'll likely have him soon. Two villages, four sheep. Add them to my three octopus villagers and I can have nearly an entire village made up of nothing but sheep and octopi. My fondness for the octopus villagers is entirely my own doing, but my new obsession with sheep villagers is entirely Gizmodo's fault. Before your posts, I was unaware of the many sheep villagers and how awesome they are.

Funny, when I started the game and I had my first nine villagers, I had two monkeys (Shari and Deli). One of them had to go, I didn't want two of the same species when there are so many available. Now, we're almost two months in, and I'm going in the opposite direction.

My work at promoting the sheep, is paying off

The only two of the same species I have now are 2 cubs, Chester and Poncho.
I've had 4 cats at once when I first started my town; Punchy, Kiki, Katt, and Felicity.

i have 5 dogs. portia, marcel, shep, goldie, and cherry. only traded for one of them the rest came on their own. pretty awesome.

I have two bear cubs, Maple and Stitches. I also have Curt, though he's a big bear. It's funny, because when I first arrived in town, those three welcomed me outside the train station. It was like the Three Bears story! Hahaha

No Lopez is a deer, Pashmina is a goat.

I have two bear cubs, Chester and Cheri. Both of them were among my starting villagers. I finally managed to catch them in a conversation yesterday. Chester made Cheri cry, and Chester didn't know what to say, so he started crying, too. o_o

My town is named Akita (dog type), so initially, when I started out the game with Bejamin and Bones in my town quite earlier on I wanted to make a dog town but.. haha but I quickly gave up that dream because I found real dreamies.

I do, currently have two deer in my town but I'm working on getting those to other people c:
