Though she asked to reserve Rosie, I don't reserve and have notified her about that, but she is up front, and will only have so much time to claim Rosie before offered to the next interested individual.

What most people do is announce that the villager is in boxes and the first lurker to say they have room can get them.

I think that's more fair but it's just me :3

Cyclers all have their way, and yes that's one of them...and another way is to allow lurkers and offer on a first come first serve basis that way. Both are first come first serve, they are just doing it a different way.

I don't think one way is necessarily more fair than another, but with the "lurker method" more people are aware that a villager they like may move and can have a shot at that villager. The first lurker doesn't always get the villager.
