i forgot to check where chrissy is going to live and she picked right in front of my bridge and right in the middle of my dirt path V-V i'm going to move my bridge and be okay, but i wish i had been more careful

for those who have this happen, do you feel better eventually? or do you just hope they move out fast fast fast?

i had a villager move in the space directly in front of my most-used bridge for a few months. i ended up reworking the geography of my town to accommodate it, and eventually got used to it. it's kind of nice once they move out and suddenly that space gets freed up.

i would definitely recommend reworking your town's geography to work around it, unless you want to time travel a bunch to make the villager move out faster!

It depends on where it's placed. Sometimes I can figure out a way to work with it, especially if I like the villager, but other times I never get over it and just do everything I can to get them out as fast as possible. Despite how much I love Rooney, he moved one tile too far south and doesn't line up with the three other houses placed there. So, he had to go. He will be missed.

thank you superdreamcast64!! that is what i think i will do i have just bought an axe and it is time :)

goodbye rooney V-V if you like him a lot i hope he moves in again soon and in a good place for you honeyblossom!!!

I'm personally not a "just work around it" person, and no matter who it is I move them out. I dislike not having full control over where my villagers live, which is why when I restarted my town back when the update was released I locked my town down with patterns and planned my paths out very early so that I didn't have to deal with anyone I like moving into a bad spot. I also never actively tried to move anyone out even if their house was in the way, I just waited (however that's likely just due to my laziness lol). If I feel even the slightest bit bothered by someones house placement, I doubt I'd ever feel good about it.

I would TT so they move out quickly haha or maybe scan another villager amiibo but I haven't been in that situation since the amiibo update.

I'm the same way. I'm currently waiting for Gwen to move out on the 4th (Yay!), so that I can run a path through the area where she built her house, so that no one else moves there.

CANABERRA the koala a villager i always wanted... MOVED RIIGHT IN FRONT of my second player's house.
Since that was an extra acnl town, I never really did talk to her. Definitely gonna be friends when she moves to my actual town! :D

ughhh... fuschia moved in right next to my zen garden and her house destroyed half of the bamboo around it, and it ruined the scenery. i'm just trying to play nice with her so she can move out quicker. i swear this game taught me every single positive of eviction

When I created DokiDoki, Chester, one of the original villagers, had a house right in front of the bridge. You can only walk like two or three steps before bumping into it.

I do plan on moving him out, anyway, though.

Honestly, now that I think about it, the only house that's actually in a good spot is Medli's, since I plot-resetted for her. She's the only villager in my town so far that' going to get to stay.

Ugh! This is the reason I hate Coach with a (self described) irrational fury. He parked right in front of my only bridge at the time. I've heard this does nothing but I still hit him in the head with the toy hammer every chance I got... Eventually he got the message - and the last laugh. I see him on main street from time to time where he is immune from my bonks... For now...

I must be a terrible person. I do plot-setting because I cannot handle bad placement at all. It makes me angry, sad to say. I actually did that today. I booted Gala with a Fauna amiibo card simply because I hated Gala?s house placement from the town?s inception, and then cycled creating a new save file until I liked where Fauna?s digs were.

:(

In my town Ume, Soleil a villager I started out with has her house sitting here:

I really like her to, luckily I do have her amiibo card.

I hate that sooo much, sometimes they just move into the worst spots. Now when I have a villager moving in I put path desgins all over my town to make sure they move into a good spot ahahaha. I have had a couple of bad move ins but now I don't really mind because I've managed to work around it.

shockingly, i don't mind. i just start flower paths. i don't have amiibo cards yet, but when i do, i probably won't use em for plot setting.

oh i really hate having someone in a bad spot, but the amiibo update was really a blessing!
i have a lot of amiibo cards i can use and i put a lot of paths down so they will move in where i want them to :D
