Villagers losing things when moving out

Did anyone else notice that whenever a villager moves out they leave a little something on the Lost and Found box?

At first I thought it was a coincidence but I'm pretty sure that Baarbara left a whirlpool bath, Ed left a shower booth and Axel left a tee and parka combo I gave him. Those are all items that were in their homes and that appeared on the box the day after they moved out.

Just a cute detail I thought I'd share. Finding Axel's shirt was pretty heartbreaking actually, it made me miss him!
