Just curious,
Would you rather have more unique individual villagers but have less villagers to chose from or Keep it how it is now but have additional dialogues per personality?

Bonus
Would you rather have more diversity in aesthetics or more diversity in dialogues?

No you can not have both that is not part the questions xD and there is no right or wrong.

I don't know where my opinion lies in the community. I am not bother by the villagers/islanders of NH but I do believe it would benefit with more dialogues per personality. I was looking at one the Wikis I got curious about which villagers were left out. There is about 80 villagers over the course of the series not include in NH but nearly 400 villagers are included. With that number I don't think they would ever be uniquely individual but improvement are possible and perhaps eventually wecan get more personalities and species/species being recognized(you know who you are XD)

It honestly depends. On one hand, if we are getting more individual villagers, I would be pretty satisfied because I would love to have a more "dense" island where there's more residents, I think it would feel more lively. But on the other hand, it would be great to have more dialogue options since it does get repetitive after a while.

It comes down to what additional content they would provide with their dialogue though. As amusing as it is when you interact with villagers, their dialogues are only significant when you actually choose to interact with them. But I feel like if I do have more villagers, I could at least see more value in that as they still have differing hobbies which impacts the activities they do around the island.

I guess I care more about more villagers being present and around the island, rather than getting a unique experience from each of them through dialogue. Might be a strange take, but that's how I feel about this choice. 😅

I'd prefer to have more quality in dialogue per personality by a longshot. I'm willing to sacrifice some aesthetics because I like to see more character in villagers, especially if you've developed your relationship with them over time.

oh i am all in for keeping the amount of villagers as it is but getting a major update on their dialogues.
i've maxed out friendships (and has been maintaining them as well) with my villagers except Dom who recently just joined and i was hoping that would have created a significant change.

spoiler alert but it didn't. man am i tired of hearing the same thing over and over. it is a nice day but frankly i do not find you lying on the ground and talking to bugs that interesting after the billionth time you've told me, Walker.

I would prefer more varied dialogue for sure! On a related note, I would like it if my villagers wouldn't get tired of speaking to me so quickly haha. Diversity in dialogue is preferred over diversity in aesthetics for me!
