Villagers for Forest-Themed town?

Hi everyone!
I have a 2nd copy of New Leaf that I've been using to give away villagers. After I've given away a few, I was thinking of creating a forest-themed town!
There are certain species that I'd want to have (mainly Rabbits, Deer, Squirrels, Bear, and Bear Cubs.. Wolves?)

So far on my list I have Bunnie, Fauna, Bam, Beau, Poppy, Grizzly, Maple, Whitney, and Chief.
That's just a start.

So if you could suggest any other villagers that might fit the theme, go for it ^^'

Maybe some birds would go with the theme? Can't think of many since I'm not familiar with a lot of villagers, though I do have one which is robin.

Both or either of them would sound good.

Also, I'm quite interested in how you'll be designing your village since I'm making something a bit similar but it's more of a rural town with little machines, modern buildings, focused on more natural or wooden PWP and I have a nice cedar forest growing at the moment. I'd love to visit your place once it's getting on well.

I have a nature-y theme and I'm mostly getting neutral colored animals, mostly the deer and the wolves. I think bear cubs would be good too, and bears. Maybe some brown squirrels or the tigers, like Rowan, or even the lions too.

I like your thinking, though I feel Bam doesn't fit in with him being bright blue and all. xP
Frogs, ducks, eagles, goats and mice could fit in too. Depends on where your forest is. xD

I thought myself about resetting to try and get a horse villager to live by my house in my garden area. Then it's like I have my own pony. 83
