Villagers for a Christmas Town

I was giving thought to possibly creating a new town that is Christmas themed.

The villagers who instantly spring to mind are deer Fauna and Erik. Thing is, I already have them in one town that I have frozen for a particular day and would not move them.

What other villagers would be good for a Christmas-themed town?

I would want to cover to following:

01. Cranky
02. Snooty
03. Lazy
04. Normal
05. Jock
06. Peppy
07. Smug
08. Uchi
09. Additional Male
10. Additional Female


One villager I am considering is the Normal kangaroo Carrie, because she is a mom?and I figure her offspring would appreciate a Christmas town. I also consider a wolf like Freya as a possibility.

I welcome suggestions.

I picked mostly animals that you might find in far north climates or might look nice in a snowy town. Others look like stuffed animals or toys. Winnie has a star on her head.

I have in mind either apple or cherry for Perfect Fruit.

So far, I am seeing Hans as a really good Smug.

I had that character in my first town, Applewin, which I started six years ago this month. I would have no problem welcoming him again.

I welcome even more suggestions.

I am thinking of getting this going and getting it ready for December.

05. Jock - Rudy the cat, his nose is red like Rudolph!
06. Peppy -Ruby the white rabbit, with red eyes! Or Tutu the polar bear (basically)
07. Smug - Marshal of course.
08. Uchi - Could go with Pheobe the Phoenix/Ostrich
09. Additional Male, Hans the Smug Gorilla (said to resemble Yeti)
10. Additional Female Poppy the squirrel (her little red nose is adorable)

Additionally, if you want more deer you could always add Fauna as your Normal and Deirdre as your Uchi, and I will always recommend Beau my fav as the lazy!

I forgot about Stitches!! I only remembered after seeing someone else mention him lol. I think for a Christmas town he is a must. So instead of Marshal for smug, I recommend Hans and then Stitches as the additional male villager.

UPDATE (August 14, 2019 @ 12:00 p.m. ET):

I want to thank every forum member who offered suggestions.

I began my new town.

I intend to get it developed well enough to submit, as an original thread, timed for Christmas 2019.

I do not want to reveal too much spoiler information. But, I will mention the following:

? The town?s Perfect Fruit is the cherry.

? The beach is a continuous flow, on the west side of the town. (That is my personal preference.)

? This town will include the following three villagers: the Lazy deer Erik; the Jock penguin Roald; and the Smug gorilla Hans. (Those three, at the time of this posted comment, are already moved in.)​
