I wonder if this is generated, because all of my villagers like to be by Re-Tail and Merengue's house, and in my orchard of many fruits. Has anyone else noticed where their villagers like to be a lot?
Most of mine are usually at the town plaza, which I love. This because I have a U shape river with the town plaza in the middle, a bridge on each side of the U and their houses are near the brisges. Usually half or more are on the bridges or at the plaza. There's a lot of discussion going on there, which is so cute!
All of my villagers' houses are to the south and to the west parts of town, so that's where I always see them hanging about. Once in a blue moon I'll see one of them hanging around the plaza or town hall, but I never see them near any of my other northern buildings like Re-tail or the police station.
Mine are usually around their own houses, but for some reason, a lot of them seem to like to hang around toward the middle of the river, where my second bridge is.
I never questioned why villagers spend so much time in the area they do, as it is near the center of the map, a natural linchpin connecting the north-west and south-east of town (it is where the river makes its only course change from west to south, and where I have strategically placed a bridge).
