Villagers don't ping to move still...

So I made a thread about this a few days ago. When I first started my town (about 3 weeks ago) I had one villager ask to move. I said no. Then I started scanning amiibo villagers and having them move in. To this day, (I have 10 villagers) not one villager has pinged me to move. I am really confused because I've never had it take this long. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

the game can only process one move-in/move-out at a time, have you waited inbetween moving your amiibos in?
how long has it been since you moved your last one in?

Try the time traveling trick if you don't feel like waiting in real time. Otherwise you're unfortunately stuck relying on time and luck.

Well the thing is, I have two villagers who I adopted from others and one is a random move in and they also never ask to move!

Still keep an eye on those three. I used to have 7 villagers gotten from scanning amiibo then Erik (starting villager), Fuchsia (random move-in) and Sylvana (adopted from another) They're the only ones who kept pinging me to move. The other seven never got chosen.

But right now, all my villagers are from my amiibo so I get random pings every time (Wolf Link then Ketchup then Julia in a span of two weeks).

you can try quitting and go back in to get the villagers to ping. My entire town is full of Welcome Amiibo villagers( I got the cards and I scan them with the New 3DS by the way, none of my villagers are adopted from other towns). I do this every time and if they ping and not talk about moving for 3 to 4 times you log back in, then that means they're not going to move out yet.

Amiibo card villagers can't move out normally, sadly. :(

This is actually a myth. I've been pinged by amiibo villagers before when I still had "normal" villagers in my town. However, it does seem to be significantly less common, which is frustrating.

They do. I've had amiibo villagers ping to move while I still had regular move ins living in town. I've also loaded up to them being in boxes because I wasn't expecting them to move. Now I have an all amiibo town they ping just the same as usual
