So someone pinged 4 days ago, I was careful to count. I've talked to everyone but Mira is sick (and was yesterday too).

What do I do? Logon with a new save file 5 days from now to see who moved out?? I'm scared to change tot he 5th day. Am I safe because Mira is sick?? I've tried tt-ing to different hours of the day and talking to different people.

I think you're right..
Daisy was sick and no one asked to move when she was and as soon as she got better she pinged to move

Yes do exactly what you just suggested, TT forward to a date and start a new file when you know for sure they would be moved out if they are thinking of moving.

The sick villager should not ping to move out. But I think others can start thinking of moving while someone is sick.

You said that four days ago, someone pinged to move out. Did you say yes or no? Because if you said no, the next person usually starts thinking of moving after 3-4 days since the last person was stopped.

If a villager is sick, they themselves cannot move out. However, other villagers can and will start thinking of moving. I would save, quit, and walk in front of everyone else to see if they ping about moving or not, that is if you're unsure.

yes, someone pinged and I told them no 4 days ago. Let's call this day, the day 4 days after the "ping"… the start date

I tried changing the 3ds clock forward 7 days from start date and logged in with a new save file character… and no one was gone! D:
and then I changed the 3ds back to 1 day forward from start date, no one in boxes,… then I tried 2 days from start date, no one in boxes.

so then I put my 3ds back to what I started with and logged on with my mayor, it has now been 5 days since someone pinged and I told them no, no one is in boxes, but Flurry DID ping to move (I told her no)

so I wonder if the sick animal becomes a hold so no one is thinking about moving???

I've had villagers ask to move out while one was sick, so I don't think they're holding anyone back but themselves.
