Villagers do the sweetest things !!

Kabuki asked me to bring Octavian to him and when I did he asked Octavian to make sure he looked after me if Kabuki ever decided to move !!!
Apparently I can be immature and I could get into trouble if Kabuki was not around to look out for me.
I have been playing this game this June and this is the sweetest thing any villager has ever done, has anyone else had a sweet acnl moment ?

Btw I did take offense to the immature comment lol

Aww, that's so cute! I didn't know villagers could do that. 8D I guess New Leaf still has a few surprises left!

I've never had any super duper cavity-inducing level sweet moments, but I always love it whenever a new villager moves in and everyone is in a tizzy. I had about 6 villagers the other day say that they couldn't wait to visit Lucky when he moved in and welcome him to the town and I just thought it was really sweet. c:

Thats... interesting because the same dialogue I had today too! Tom wanted me to bring Roscoe to him and tell him to look after me if he moves away etc. even if he didn't plan to move. I was a bit sad that I didn't screen it. So cute. It made me love Tom a bit more. xD

Once I was delivering a package to Carmen and when she saw it she got really surprised and said "Oh right! I got this for you!" And she said about how nice I am to her and thought it'd be great to order me something. I've gotten plenty of letters with gifts in them but this had never happened before! Carmen will always be the sweetest villager to ever and hopefully keep living in Pig City.

i got a really sweet letter from wolfgang once completely randomly and unprompted and it said something along the lines of 'i know you'll always be there to help me, i know i can count on you'

In my third town, Temps, Cranky cat Tom gave me his pic. He has sent me a couple letters. Tom has expressed feeling bonded to my Mayor Alicia. So, he respects and appreciates Alicia.

The Cranky has a hidden sweetness that ends up revealed after you earn a Cranky's trust. And the attachment forms where, admittedly, you feel pretty terrible if you part ways with that Cranky. I have had Croque in my second town, Progress, and I had him in a cycle town I had reset. I didn't get to know him long enough. I do have Apollo in Progress. He is a good-looking eagle. He is not at all intimidating. And I dig him.

I got a letter from Benedict once that went something like,

"Dear Bambath, I had a really scary dream last night that you left the town! Please never leave this town, it'll never be the same without you! Promise! - Benedict"

It was a bit longer but you get the idea.

Lol Kabuki did that with me too and asked Lilly of all people to look after me.
Lilly always sends me just the items I've been thinking of getting somehow LOL she's super adorable.

I must admit I have a really soft spot for the cranky villagers, they are like cr?me eggs, hard on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside lol

I don't know why but I'm touched when lazy characters see you with bandage and whine/cry because they're upset even though you "say" it's nothing but a costume or what. Like they care so much of you.

Edit : About cranky villagers I confirm that they can be really sweet. I had Walt and he became a big brother figure (he was saying that himself often btw). Rough tongue but still very sweet.

Yeah Chief is my absolute favorite, but if he ever says he's leaving town.......let's just say I'll make him reconsider

That's adorable! One of the cutest things in my opinion is that Cookie randomly gives an item to me and then says she thinks she might get two of everything from now on so we can always be twins.

Rosie tried to sell my item, I turned down and she gave it to me for free...then I talked to her again, we repeated step one to step three for four times consecutively in a row..lol. That will teach me never to buy furnitures from peppy.

I've had a few of these dialogues are they are so sweet! I've never had the "Look after Ankhes," one, but I hope to so I can save the screenshots.

I got teary-eyed when I got the "bad dream" letter, and when my first peppy wanted us to be like twins forever!

Oh, and once Lobo told me in a letter that we are friends and that I could talk to him about anything. I hated parting with that letter later on! I wish I could screen-shot letters sometimes. I don't have a handheld camera currently (it is in storage while I'm preparing to move) so I couldn't even take a pic of it.

But yes, our villagers are really sweet on the inside, especially the crankies!
