Villagers: crushing your hopes and dreams

Yikes. I had this happen to me with Rocket before. She wanted to go and I was so happy, but then insisted on staying to work on our friendship. Someone else asked to move out next, I said no, and thankfully the very next ping to move out was from Rocket and she left happily. I was very lucky with that.

oh, that's so annoying! victoria did that to me three times, no joke.

This was Al in my first town. Ugh. I had no idea I could just quit and I think this was before I started TTing. I had him for soooo long!

ugh, this happened with chops. he eventually listened and got his vomit-colored ass out of my town, though. :)
other things villagers do that i hate:
  • ruin paths in a narrow area (marshal and scoot)
  • destroy your only orange tulips (frank)
  • block bridges (gloria)
  • try to trade ugly shirts for expensive furniture/bugs/ore (a lot of animals)

thank god for plot resetting though, right??

Thing I'm having the fieriest of fury's with right now is plot resetting. 53 times. A better chunk of a day, trying to get Tia to move into my side of the town where the villagers are supposed to be. No. She wants to be RIGHT BEHIND MY HOUSE. After that many times I said "Whatever, take that spot then." She even tried to move in RIGHT in front of my bulletin board!

I would reset.
This happened to me with Rodney,
and I didn't want to reset because of the work I put in,
and in the end it took me more time and effort to make him move.
So now I've learnt my lesson c:

I know how this feels. Freya, who I've had since the beginning and although I do like her, I need to make room for my cat villagers and Marshal, has pinged me well over 3 times the past month (before I started TT-ing one day at a time) saying she wanted to go off on a new adventure, or the town was getting old or something of that nature. I get my hopes up each time like "YES FINALLY!!!! OMGOSH" only of course to have it shoot down when she decides not to move because she's made too many memories in my town. LIKE I'VE ONLY SPOKEN TO YOU EIGHT OR NINE TIMES SINCE 2013 FREYA lol WHAT MEMORIES?!??!

I had Marcie pop in and killed 3 of my stumps. I have never spoken to her and hope she leaves soon lol. The stumps were all clustered near each other.

Yup, had stuff like that happen before. The villager that crushed my happy day was Paula. She squeezed her house right between my favorite villager and my cafe, right in the middle of my road, directly in front of the path down to the beach and my dock.

Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled. XD

That had happened to me with Chadder... it took 2 months for him to ask again, I almost DIED lol >_< I would be soooo upset if it happened again.

Oh man, I had that happen not too long ago they ended up moving on. I hope yours will move out soon too xD

IMO re-doing 2 hours of re-decorating is far better than waiting between 5~100+ days for that specific villager to ping you again to move. I would have just reset and saved yourself a ton of waiting.

Well, it's not *too* horrible, and she's at least an uchi villager (I was planning to replace her with an uchi I like better) so hopefully while she's stuck in my town for a while she'll at least request more pwps. I really want the log bench haha.

It seems like only Uchis do tat to me.

I think this is the first time it's ever happened to me too. Flo is an uchi too...conspiracy!

When someone says they're moving, never speak to them again. I always time travel 6 days ahead to the day after they've moved out, save, and time travel back to the current day. But if you don't want to time travel, it's important to stay away from them or be prepared to reset in case you forget.
