One of my favorite things in AC is when two villagers have a conversation. I wish they talked as much as they did in AC:WW. I think the conversations are super funny and I'm often laughing at their responses. I just wanted to share a few stories and maybe others have funny stories of their villagers talking.

Chester said Hopper was about to tell us a funny pun. Hopper was caught off guard but agreed so he said some joke about feet and ahead o.O It gave me the option to laugh or stay quiet. Since Hopper is my fave I laughed. He blushed and was really happy I thought it was funny. Then he asked Chester what he thought, so Chester laughed too and this is what Hopper said:

Another time I caught Fuchsia and Hopper chatting. She wanted to have a big karaoke party or something but Hopper didn't want to participate. He said karaoke was just for a few friends not in front of the whole public. Fuchsia asked me if I wanted to hear Hopper sing. It gave me options like, Yeah, I want earplugs, or just ... I stayed quiet and then Hopper decided he would sing xD This is what happened next:

Well it's funny to me :P I'd love to see/read more interactions you have witnessed.

I must be five years old because I laughed at Mega D.

But anyways, Cookie and Nan just had a conversation about books. Every time my peppy and normal villagers have conversations, it seems really awkward.

Lol! I hate my new nickname. I used to be youngin which Hopper gave me, he'd always call me his lil' youngin :D Then Bud started calling me Mega D.

My snooty and uchi villager was conversing and my uchi villager was being so rude...thats why she had to go!

I'm so jealous. I have never been able to get in on their conversations. They rarely seem to happen. And when they do, by the time I get there just go quiet. If I hit "A" then only one of them talks to me as if it were a standard Mayor/Villager conversation. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

You're probably just not catching them in time! The conversations do seem to happen much less often as they did in the past games. I've probably only seen them happen a handful of times since I started. Dx

But one of my favorite conversations was between Pashmina and Lolly. Pashmina was teaching Lolly how to be more assertive. :D ... at least I think it was Lolly? :o

If two villagers are close to each other, I try to push them to make them talk! It sometimes works... unless they get angry at me for pushing them, that is. My favorite conversation was between Hippeux and Tammi, where they were talking about the friendship bracelets they had given each other. :D

I've noticed a lot of them kind of make you choose which villagers side to take. Once Rodney and Bud were talking.. Bud was trying to get him to flex his muscles and Rodney was like help me xD So I refused to flex too.

Best way to catch convos is to have your volume up, you'll hear their emotion noises, usually the doorbell noise always grabs me and I run over. But you'll see them reacting to each other and you can catch the convo if you hurry. I've also noticed that at least in my town a lot of villagers talk on the bridges.

I've enjoyed some really great conversations before but can't recall the exact context and stuff, but the Crankies usually have the best convos. I think one time Rolf was talking to someone and they called him scary and I said he wasn't and the other person said I was brave or something. XD

I loved the WW conversations. They were hilarious.
I remember Tipper, telling Angus he smelled like an old boot. It turned into a full-on mud slinging match. Ahh. I miss that. :(

I miss that too. The villagers in this game seem dull, and much more repetitive compared to the WW versions.
