Villagers Clothes

Well I was under the impression after doing some reading that telling Isabelle my villagers clothing were problematic would get them to wear their original clothing. After I did it though, I ended up with all my villagers wearing white shirts. Is this going to change in a few days? If not, what's the best way to get them to wear new clothes?

No, the white shirts will stay there until they decide to change shirts from other ways (like if you delivered a shirt to them from another villager and they change on the spot.) I've heard that sending your villagers clothes in the mail can make them change into that, but it may take a few tries before they actually wear it, as opposed to just displaying it in their house.

Usually if you send them a letter with a shirt you want them to wear attached, they'll change. (Sometimes they just put it up in their house though...)

You have to send them two of the exact same shirt and they will always put one on. The other one will go in their house. c:

To be 99% success it better to send at least 3 at once~ They will wear it =x but only 1% of chances they will display one at home lols~ but no worries works for me each time!
