Villagers Changing their Music?

I have Kyle in my town, so does my friend. I visited his Kyle and noticed that he wasn't playing K.K. Adventure in his record player. I didn't know that was possible... Can a villager change their music? Has this happened to you?

I've never heard of a villager changing their music before, but perhaps it is possible!

Pudge in my first town had K.K. Lullaby but I'm thinking it was a glitch as he had it day 1 ono

If you mail them a song they can change their music! I got fang to play kk etude in his house when I sent it to him. :>

One time I gave Whitney K.K. Bossa and she replaced her old song Lucky K.K. with the new song I gave her.

Honestly, I thought you can do it for a long time, though I wasn't sure.

Wow i never knew that either, looks like i'll be changing a few of my villagers music. Fang playing K.K ?tude is a good idea. I'll see if i can get mine to change too.

I accidentally forgot Molly's birthday and had to give her the Elegant Umbrella I had just bought. She looked really cute with it ^3^

Well I don't know if this helps, but Simon used to have no music, then POOF, the next day, he magically has a stereo playing Forest Life in it.... I think they may be able to.

I am so mind blown right now! Flurry has kk dirge playing in her house and that song really creeps me out so I don't like going to her house. I am so happy I can change that!!!!!!!

K.K. Dirge is so unfitting for Flurry haha I'd be scared too! I'm glad this thread helped people & that I'm not the only one who never knew lol

They can change if you send them music c:

Like furniture and outfits, they can not use it and just keep it in their 'inventory'

Sometimes. Sometimes they'll display the new one as furniture in their house. I had both happen, because Papi started using the busted umbrella, but Maelle just displayed hers. Not sure why one switched and the other didn't.

I also gave Joey some music for his birthday today, so let's see if he puts that in his player- I'm curious, because I only got them to change it (later they'll give you their old when you talk to them) by mailing the new one to them.
