Villagers buying stuff from you

So just now Bud came up to me to buy a beetle I had. He said is 8k ok? I said yeah but he ended up giving me 9.6k bells o.o Is this normal? Maybe it's happened before and I haven't caught it.

Another thing I'm curious about... it seems that after you become better friends with a villagers they tend to low ball you. Like, they used to offer like 1-2k for items and now they only give me a few hundred bells for items.

It happened to me yesterday. Kevin handed over more money than what he said he was buying my amethyst for. I thought it was very odd!

Yeah I've had Punchy give me more money than what we agreed on. And as long as I like the villager who low balls me, I don't really care. I don't deny the favorites of my village lol

Victoria gave me 27,000 for my arapreima or how ever it's spelled.

Most of the time they want to trade a shirt for a shark or something stupid like that. I usually just oblige because I want to keep them all happy >n< They take advantage of my kindness, I just know it.

This has happened to me a few times, I dunno what triggers it. Also, someone tried to sell me a painting this morning for 7k+... well, I said yes, because PAINTING - worth the risk. He's like jk take it for free. o.o

I usually do whatever the villagers want, because I want their photos lol. The one guys I have, I say no to him sometimes ~_~

I remember Jay getting pwned because I caugh a dorado (which I'm catching lots, idk why) and bough it for 15k. Lulz.

And Greta loved my MOTH so much she gave me a rainbow tee for it.
I got a rainbow tee because a moth, yay!
