Villagers asking to move daily?

Within the past few weeks I've had a villager come up to me daily saying they want to move out. I don't TT at all, so it couldn't be that. Is this just some random glitch? Should I be worried? I don't want to lose my town and restart since I just got Gracie's store upgrade just to fix this. Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? :confused:

I don't think that'll help. I'm positive it's poor coincidence rather than a game mechanic.

I've had the same 10 villagers for a couple months now. It seems like the longer you keep them, the harder they try to leave. My belief is: the game wants more variety for you.

I've had the same thing happened to me. Apollo, Merry and another villager had come up to me asking to move out. I was pretty freaked out that this happened 3 days in a row.

I have crappy luck as well.

All of my good villagers (Especially Whitney) always want to move out.

It's not a glitch. After you tell a villager to stay, you have a random chance to be pinged every day (I think it's higher if you haven't been pinged in a while). You're probably just unlucky enough that you're being pinged so often but it might change. I've had times when villagers pinged me every day and others when almost a week would go by without pings.

So far I've only had 1 villager ping me to leave...and it was my dreamie Skye ;_; ...nope you're staying!!!

It's just a case of bad luck. ; v ;

I'm doubt this is true, but I think that the longer you have a villager, the more they'll ask to move. I've sorta experienced it myself. In other words, they'll usually be the one pinging you about moving ; n ;

Still, I can't really prove that because I had Marshal ping me more than any of my starter villagers in my old town. o u o

I experienced this myself for the first time a couple weeks ago. I always thought that nobody would ask to move out until after the planned move date of the previous would-be moving villager but three days in a row I had villagers bring up moving.

I heard somewhere that the villagers you have higher friendships will ping to move more often then those you don't like. I'm not sure if this is true, but I do seem to get a lot of pings from my cool villagers. It should calm down eventually, I hope. c:

It's different with a lot of people, but this seems to be a common case and it happened to me in my main town. Those villagers who I had a higher friendship always wanted to leave me while those who I hardly talked to or did things for me took forever to ping me about leaving town.

It's mostly everyone but Pashmina asking. Now, her I wouldn't mind moving away. Lol. I did go a month or two back in the summer of no one asking at all. Then a little glitch where when Bruce asked to leave and I let him, he wouldn't leave. That happened about three times before he actually packed up and left. I'm just worried that if I miss a day someone will have decided to move without me. XD Thanks for y'all's input! :D Ain't no one leaving my town! Mwahahaha! Lol.

In my signature says when the final of my 10 moved in (notice it's over a year for O'Fallon). I've kept VERY detailed records to when they ping to say they're moving, trying to figure out this moving mechanic. I can say for sure the longest it's been between moving pings is 4 days between requests (only happened once), shortest is the next day, and 3 days in a row is the most I've seen. The average seems to be between 2 to 3 days, which is pretty frequent, but from what I understand after you reach 9 you've got "too many" according to the game, so someone will want to move, but when you have 10, they REALLY, REALLY want to move, so every other day someone will say they want to move! That's kind of the drawback with having 10, but hey, what can you do, it's the way the game was programmed.

Also, the 4 days is true, because they said they were moving 5 days after the current date, and since I use the camera to record moving pings, looked back at the previous one which was 4 days prior. Note, I've only seen that ONE TIME, so you're going to having moving pings a LOT when you're at 10.

I have ten villagers so they're all constantly trying to move but I usually only get informed every four days or so.
