Villagers Asking for Fuit

Will villagers ever ask for perfect non-native fruit? Also, if you give a villager a perfect fruit, will they give you a higher-quality gift? I heard this from a friend, but I'm not sure if it works. Thanks! c:

Yup to the first question! ^^ I'm growing perfect peaches in my town, and I've had plenty of villagers ask me for perfect Apples/Oranges/Cherries. (Never pears O_O)

I think that if you give them perfect fruit when they ask for regular fruit, you get increased friendship. Same with giving a villager an out of season/rare fish when they ask for any 'ocean' or any 'river' fish.

Nope, when they ask for perfect fruit they never specify which perfect fruit they want, so you can give them whichever is easiest for you to obtain.

I have no idea if giving them perfect fruit makes them give you better rewards.. The only rumor I've heard regarding that is that perfect fruit improves your friendship more than normal fruit does, thus increasing the chance that they'll give you their picture. But I'm not sure about other items!

Really? I've had this game since the release day and they've never mentioned a specific perfect fruit they want. For me, they've only done that with normal fruit.

I know they asked me for a perfect fruit, I don't remember if they said which fruit or not.

If you give them a perfect fruit instead of a regular one, it increases your friendship more.

They can ask for a perfect fruit too.

And they can ask for a specific perfect fruit, however, in my experience, the specific perfect fruit is if it is the perfect fruit of your town. So if you have perfect peaches, a villager can ask for a perfect peach. I've never had a villager ask for a perfect orange even though it is not native in my town.
