Villagers aren’t moving?

Hello! I’ve run into a dilemma here. My villagers have always followed the ping every 2 weeks to move schedule to a T and I’ve been tracking it pretty closely. Suddenly, it’s been 2.5 weeks and no one is pinging to move. I also haven’t had a campsite visitor in over 2 weeks as well.

I recently did make a new character on the game to check something but then deleted her within 10 minutes of making her. Didn’t put down her plot or anything. Might that have reset the timer? If so, how long will it be before my villagers ping again? I don’t time travel so I’ve been going day by day checking if someone is bubbling to move. I really want someone to leave ;-;

The last time someone asked to move out did you let them?
I could be wrong but if someone moved out then it could take a while until the next villager asks

Yep I let someone move out 7/3 so it’s been a long time :’) I might see if I can reset the campsite with an amiibo

Apparently, move-outs work like the campsite. So you have a fairly small % chance of a villager pinging to move 15 days after a moveout. That % chance increases daily until you reach 30 days, which is when the bubble chance maxes out.

As for the campsite, it maxes out at 20% chance per day to get a visitor. I recently went 21 days between campsite villagers so 2 weeks isn't unheard of. Just means that when the game rolls the 20% per day, you are hitting in the 80% no visitor range.

Ultimately, it really sucks but I think you're just getting bad luck, as you aren't really outside the expected values yet.

Ninji datamined it back when 1.2.1 came out. Theoretically, the odds may have changed since then, but that was the most recent writeup I could find on how it works for sure. A lot of this game runs on RNG when you really break down what it's doing behind the scenes.

Truly thank goodness for Ninji. What would we do without our datamine king to break down the game for us ^^
