Villagers are crowding my house

Seems like a cult if you ask me. Maybe they all have an unspoken agreement that they'd all crowd their houses around yours. Admittedly though, i've never had this happen to me in all my years of playing new leaf. Even when I didn't plot reset.

If someone knows of a Jonestown-themed dream address...let me know. Juice boxes for everyone!

Oh gosh, I feel so sorry for you. I hope none of those villagers that moved in were dreamies!
I actually had the same thing happen to me with my previous towns. They always seem to move around your house for some reason. I had Amelia move near enough to my house, but not too close for comfort. Hippeux and Wolfgang followed suit after. My other villagers I had good luck with without any resetting! Mira moved in right beside Retail and it honestly looks lovely! Right in line with it too, so I'm happy she's there.

I'd say if you don't want anything like that happening again, always put designs out in front of your house! It has really saved me from plot resetting.

The only houses crowding around Josuke's house are Sheldon and Diana. Shizuka's house is next to Merengue's.

Koichi and Okuyasu are the only ones with no houses around them. Kinda sad

Thank you for the condolences on this truly horrible situation everyone. Unfortunately 4 out of 6 villagers you see crowding my house are dreamies so I'm gonna have no breathing room for the rest of my life. (But the other two are being kicked out ASAP)

This happens to my friend too, literally every single villager groups up around his house lmao
I told him to set out paths to force them to move elsewhere but he's too lazy.

I'm pretty sure villager houses are programmed to spawn near wherever you put your own house, at least in the beginning. I've never seen it so cramped though. That's unfortunate you have to deal with that, though on the bright side, at least you will get a lot of conversations between villagers.

lol, and I thought one villager being near mine was awful. it's especially bad when they're villagers you really like. flurry recently moved right beside my house rather than somewhere decent, extra upset because I had 4 perfect plots laid out.

Haha I think it's actually pretty cute that they are crowding around the mayor! I currently have nine villagers, and three of them live very close to me. I really like one of them (Biskit), I'd be happier if my other favorites were right next door.
Bless the people who have the patience to do resetting to get villagers to live where they want. I just... couldn't ever do that, as nice as it does look.
