Villagers and purses

Will they wear purses/bags? I think it would be cute to give some of my villagers the shellfish pochette but I don’t want to go to the trouble if they won’t wear them. Does anyone know if they will?

They won't. They'll sometimes walk around with a little bad of their own, especially if they're into "fashion," but the only clothes you can get them to wear are shirts/dresses and hats.

they will wear their own purses if they have the fashion hobby, aka like 90% of all snootiest. can’t give them the shellfish pouchette tho lol

I gave whitney a purse and she was wearing it once. However it was more than once. Not sure about pochettes though.

They didn’t for me and it’s a waste.
