Villagers and moving

Hey, I can't seem to get a straight answer online anywhere.
Would anybody here know (preferably from their own experience) if it is at all possible for the newest villager who moved in to move out before anybody else? Or would somebody else have to move out first before they even think of asking?
It's not even particularly for right now. Would be good to know though in case the opportunity for Chief or Wolfgang ever came up

I've read multiple times that the last villager who moved in cannot leave your town unless someone does before him or her, or someone new moves in. And I have also tested it because Becky moved in and I hated her so I wanted her to leave but she wouldn't go, so I had to wait for Ricky to leave before she decided it was her turn.

Argh! No! That's what I was afraid of. I've read quite a bit online and there's a couple of conflicting opinions which is why I wanted to hear from experience. Thank you letting me know, guess I will have to work something out

I'm pretty sure the lastest moved in villager can't leave before anyone else has left before them ... unfortunately

That's what I keep reading now. It's just that there were a couple of threads on game FAQs saying it is possible/they had a new villager move out a few days after they moved in.
I'm guessing I'll go with the majority though

The last one to move in can ask to move out, but it most of the time it's one of the others who will want to move.

Yes, it is possible. I forgot what villager it was but they moved in. I didn't talk and I heard my villagers say they were leaving. I was super surprised about it. One of the fastest move in and move out ever!
