Well, if they dont ask for favors you can always mail them letters! They always see that as a sign of apprecation, and sometimes if you mail them perfect fruit they may mail you back their picture! Other gifts can work fine also. Remember Patience is key.

If you don't mind waiting until Easter (or time traveling), you can get your villager pictures on April Fool's. I know it's not the same as receiving the pictures because of a high friendship, but at least you can get the pictures regardless!

For me, it's the other way around. They ALWAYS ask for favours and it's so annoying. I miss how there was a seperate option to ask for favours in the games before e+. That's how it always should've been. It's getting so annoying trying to talk to a villager but then are forced to do a chore for them and it's the same chores almost every day.

On April Fool's Day, Blanca will come to your town and disguise herself as your villagers. The two villagers will then give out facts, such as their birthday, number of siblings, goals, etc. Blanca will always say the wrong thing while the real villager says real facts, so that is how you know it will be her. There are guides online that say the correct information. Your villagers will give you their pictures when you get it right.
I have had my village for YEARS and somehow didn't know this!? Ugh! Thank you!
