Villager trading help

Hi, I normally use ACC but no one is helping me on there so I thought I'd try here.
I'm trading Daisy for Mira.
But neither of us have an open spot. I'm wondering, if we both adopt them on the same day that they're both in boxes, would we be able to get them into town on the next day once our villagers are gone and we do have an open spot? I've never traded before so it's a big concern. I didn't even think about it until we both agreed.

I'm not sure about this one, I think you need to have an open spot to even be able to invite someone into your town. You can always try to visit each other and see if the option comes up to invite the villager who is in boxes. If the game doesn't count having a villager in boxes as enough, you won't get that option.

Another thing you could do is to ask around and see if someone can hold one of the villagers for you, so for example, the third person could hold the villager you want, the person you're trading with would go invite yours, and then you'd TT to the next day and have an open spot to go to the third person's town and invite the villager you wanted.

You're gonna need a holder for this one, otherwise it's impossible.
