Erik pulled out his phone today and took a photo of something. Is that new? I’ve never seen it before.

I haven't seen my villagers do that ever. I thought it was exclusive to CJ. It's cool that they do that.

Guess I need to display more artsy stuff outside.

They take photos of a bunch of furniture items (mostly decorations). I know that my villagers love taking photos of my frozen sculptures!

They usually take photos of gulliver items, or statues/art, I have seen it pretty often when I had the stonehenge placed and statue of david!

Static was taking a picture of a spooky tower I still have sitting out earlier. He told me about how they used to have them in his town at one point, so I guess he must really like them.

I've seen it happen a few times, but VERY rarely. I wouldn't be surprised if it's more common now, though, since players now have the option to take photos, too.

Thanks! He was taking a picture of a jack o lantern. I will keep my eyes peeled for it to happen again.

All villagers take out their phone and take pictures of things, or themselves. Its just completely random. I've caught Skye taking a selfie in the past, and I've caught Quillson (ugh) doing it on multiple occasions.

My islanders have been snapping pictures with their cellphones for many months now. For instance, you can see my screenshots here -> LINK <-of Tutu snapping a picture, and then her reaction to her own snap.

It's the sandcastle that's the trigger.
