Villager species you like that are over/under rated?

I like the cats and squirrels although one of them is my favorite.
The elephants and the bird species are also nice.

the mice are my favorite species!!! i think theyre one of the more underappreciated species because their designs are "undesirable"... but moose and chadder are my faves LMAO

I don't think there's a single bad eagle.
I'd have them all on my island if I could.

I like the Wolves, but not nearly as much as everyone else. They're cute but I don't feel the need to have a single wolf or even dog in my towns and I don't have either on my island right now. I feel that in general most of the rodent villagers are underrated, and some birds too. The squirrels are relatively popular imo but only a couple of them seem to be commonly talked about, hamsters I don't personally like myself but I'd still love to see more people like them in general I guess, and the mice aren't that bad but I feel like nobody wants mice. Bree is amazing cute and my girlfriend has her which makes me happy. I also think that Dora is so super cute. While I do like other species more than the mice, there are still some really good mouse villagers. Rizzo, Greta, Bettina, I can go on about more of them too. The only mice I truly dislike are Limberg and Moose....

I think the birds are massively underrated. There's Twiggy, Midge, Jay, Jacob, and many more awesome looking birds that I think deserve more attention

Hippos are completely underrated Rocco,Bubbles and Bitty are great villagers.

I really love cat villagers and squirrels, but I also really love a few of the mice + birds.
I really love Penelope, Bella, Rod, Piper and Sparro.
Also really love Deli and Shari who are monkeys.

It seems like a lot of people dislike monkeys, mice, and birds.
