Villager sending me mail after moving away!

Colton moved out of my town weeks ago. I know villagers send you a letter on the day that they leave, but today I opened my mailbox and had another letter from Colton! I opened it and it said "Hey, after I moved away I totally remembered that time capsule you buried for me. Go ahead and dig it up now. Just keep whatever I put inside, OK?"

I had no idea villagers could send you mail even after moving away! I'm actually pretty happy about that! I'm totally keeping this letter.

So, has this ever happened to you?

I guess it's just something that happens if you bury a time capsule and the villagers moves away. Still cool!

whoa!! i didn't know that!! maybe if that happens to me i'll give whatever they put inside to them. and also copy the letter. it'll be like sending the time capsule! the villager would have to be in a friend's town, though.

This happened to me a few times! When they don't ask you to dig up their time capsules, they let you dig them up and keep the contents.

Yep I've had that happen before too. I was disappointed the first time it happened because I couldn't save the whole time capsule. So now I usually take whatever was buried in the capsule and attach it to the letter when I save it.

I wanted to save the time capsule too! I do the exact same thing! It is a very bittersweet feeling isn't it?
