Villager Relationships - What's the Scoop in Your Town?

I've noticed something in my town, and I'm just curious to see if others have noticed it as well in theirs.

Certain villagers of mine never say a word to each other, and I hear bad gossip about them getting into 'fights'. I never see them walking around together, either.
But other villagers are so closely knit it's almost scary. They live right by each other, they're all each other talks about, and they wore the same freaking color feather hat yesterday during Festivale.

Tutu and Kevin in my town are the latter. They like, love each other. I'm not even kidding. Kevin makes Tutu blush in all their conversations, and Tutu is always talking about him and swooning over him. They are the only other two who live on the island with me. They both wore yellow feather hats yesterday. They're so adorable.

So, what are the villager relationships in your town? Who dislikes whom? Who likes whom? Any super-close relationships?

Teddy and Stitches talked about each other and sent each other gifts frequently. They're best bear buds! :')

Sydney and Eugene have been together for a long time.. They're always sending each other gifts, but I think Eugene's quite shy, so he doesn't tend to hang around her house very much.. But I do reckon they spend nights together

Tom & Poncho are definitely getting close too, they're always sending gifts

Eugene & Poncho have a bromance going on too, although it doesn't conflict with their relationships with Sydney and Tom

I thnik Erik and Rocket are also cooking something up, they're always together and talking about each other to me
