Villager Relations

Ever wonder if some of the villagers are related to each other? I mean not like the shipping we do to them lol, but like some seem uncannily similar to each other. Or just seem to belong to each other.

Obvious ones are Francine and Chrissy, they are clearly like sisters or something

My favorite one to think about is Poncho and Paula... they both have similar personalities, have hair, and paula's eyeliner is blue like poncho! also their artwork has them doing similar poses with the opposite hand! I sense a mother-son vibe

I like to think that Mira is Gaston's embarrassing tomboyish weeaboo niece or daughter. They share the same species and color palette!

Canberra and Melba could be sisters or twins. I like the uchi and normal dynamic they have, it's like we have the tomboy sister and the girly-girl sister. They both have peach-colored fur and they wear the same shirt.

Snake and Ken might belong to the same ninja clan. I like the idea that Ken is Snake's master, especially when we compare their personality types to one another.

i like to think that tom is moe's grumpy uncle, haha. they have similar colour schemes and similar fur patterns.

Wolfgang is freyas brother. I mean they look so alike. Only difference is their gender and color. Fang and Whitney too.

Kinda surprised nobody's mentioned Pecan and Poppy yet. I mean, they have similar design, colour, and have the same species. Pus their names are similar! I like to think of Pecan as the more mature older sister, lol.
Maybe Kyle and Chief? I mean, they look kind of similar, and in my town, Kyle once did that thing where he says he's related to another villager but refuses to go into detail, and that villager was Chief. I can see it, to be honest.
Also, possibly Vanessa (a wolf from the first game) and Chief? I mean, the colours are pretty similar, i don't know. xD

Now that you guys mentioned Fang and Chief, I actually think that Fang and Chief could be related. First off, they're wolves and their eyes look similar to each other. Second, their birthdays are next to each other, Fang being on December 18 and Chief is on December 19. And last, Fang's favorite color is beige and Chief's favorite color is grey. Fang is grey and Chief is beige/tan. I'm thinking that they could be relatives, close friends, or partners.

Stitches and Pudge. Like little fraternal twins. Tia and Margie could seem like sisters.
Merengue and Renee. Biskit and Cookie. Annalise and Elmer could be something.

Idk...those are a few sibling combos I think would be adorable. I don't have any theories as to why or what, but eh.

I guess I originally thought of Goldie and Daisy as little girlfriends, but I guess they could be related to each other. They're both normal dogs and aren't too far apart in appearance.

I've always thought that about Merry and Felicity too.I had them in the same town for a while until Merry decided to leave.

Ugh, why can't my Bam and Beau get along? One moment, they follow each other and their faces are too close together and the next they hate each other's guts. They have a love-hate relationship in my town X)
I do like your relationship idea with Coco and Dotty. They're both creepy and cute.

I know Ankha's a cat and Lucky's a dog, but a pharaoh cat and a mummy dog? Maybe they were sealed in the same tomb for three thousand years or something like that~
Regardless, they're cute together.
