Villager question please!

Currently I have Tammy and Mallary in my town as my uchi and snooty. I think both of them are cute but I'm thinking of switching them out for Zell and Chester. I'm torn because Tammy and Mallary are my only uchi and snooty in my town and I love them both but I feel like Zell and Chester will fit my town theme better despite them will have been the second of their each respective personality. I don't want to just keep either Tammy or Mallary. I want them to stay together, either both here or both gone. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Before considering villagers moving out, no matter the concern, ask yourself if you need a personality type to get the PWP's you really want. Otherwise, it's mostly a personal choice.

Yes - provided that you're not currently seeking any Uchi or Snooty PWPs, I see no barrier to letting them move out if you'd prefer not to have them in your town.

Your villagers should be ones that suit your tastes, even if they are duplicate personalities. (Then again, I actually had three lazy villagers in the same town at one point, so I might be biased.)
