Villager public works requests

A Japanese friend of mine mentioned this morning that certain villagers will request certain public works projects. In Japan, someone created an actual list. Ok, cool so far. Unfortunately, the names are in Japanese, so she can't really help in that regard. Does anyone here know about this, and perhaps can find a list in English, or even a pictorial Japanese one?

Just wanted to add that my only zen request came from Coach who is a jock villager. So maybe take the list with a grain of salt
