Villager Plot Question!

If I invite another villager to my town, but with a villager already with a house plot, would the villager i invited from another town have a plot instead of the villager already with the plot?
Sorry if it doesn't make a lot of sense.

No, they won't override the existing plot. If you only have 9 villagers (including the plot), then you can still invite another villager in anyway to make 10.

So... What you're saying is, if your town currently has a villager's plot in it, and you adopt someone today, will their plot be there tomorrow? If that's what you're asking, then yes, the adopted villager's plot will show up tomorrow while the villager who has made a plot today will be unpacking tomorrow.

What I mean is Vesta currently has her house "plotted" out.

Vesta is moving into your town. If you try to adopt another villager, you simply won't be able to.
