Villager personalities?

Do i have to have at least one of every personality type? Im planning on keeping my uchi villager until they request all the PWP's i like, but my none of my dream villagers are uchi, jock, or cranky. Do most people like to have one of each type? right now i have three dreamies who are normal living in my town (who i plan to keep) do you think that is too many? Thanks xo

I can live without peppy villagers. Normals are a bit boring but have great designs. Snooties have great personalities but there aren't too many I really like design wise. I love every other personality.

Go for whatever you like! I suspect the game tries to achieve a balance for you, but that doesn't always seem to hold true. My main town has 2 uchi, 2 smug, and 2 cranky, my alt town has 4 (!!!) lazy, and my proxy town has 3 snooty. It'd be nice to have a balance in my main town, but I have a hard time letting villagers go.

The only reason I think you need every personality type is to get PWP requests and since you have that covered, you should do whatever you want!

Funnily enough, I hadn't planned on having one of every personality type. I had planned on 4 normal, 1 jock, 2 snooty, 1 smug, and 1 cranky but my best friend had Stitches randomly move in and she's giving him to me. And then I fell in love with Phoebe and Flora. So now I have one of every villager type even though I didn't plan on it.

And I have 3 Normal villagers too, at one point I had 5! So don't worry!

I only had each personality type so I could get every pwp.
I gave up on that because I only really wanted some pwps and not all of them so I didn't want to waste my time.

I don't pay a whole lot of attention to personality types but I've notices that 4 of my 9 are smug so I've told myself I can't get anymore of them. xD; Right now I've got those 4, an uchi, snobby, cranky, normal & lazy.
