I currently have Sprinkle (she should be a peppy) in my town and she wanted to leave because Filbert (lazy) said something bad against her. I only have 7 villagers so far, so is it normal that villagers already want to leave this early in the game? Also is there a list of the current / new personalities which conflict with eachother?
If it causes conflicts so early I'm willing to let Filbert and Sherb go since they are both lazy, and I don't want Sprinkle to leave.

I did find this, but I'm not sure if it's correct (or if the ac wiki is updated with the new personalities for all villagers)

Male Personalities

Cranky (These villagers can be rude and don’t get along well with villagers who are loud and energetic, for example, Snooty, Smug, Uchi, and Peppy.)

Jock (They tend to focus a lot on working out and staying fit, and because of this they don’t get along well with Lazy, Snooty and Cranky Villagers.)

Lazy (Their interests are sitting around eating food and being lazy, they won’t get along with Jock and Snooty Villagers because of this.)

Smug (Smug villagers like to boast about themselves, they don’t get along with Cranky and Uchi Villagers.)

Female Personalities

Normal (They don’t have very strong opinions and tend to be rather kind, they tend not to get along with Cranky Villagers.)

Peppy (Peppy villagers often overly energetic. Thus, they don’t get along with Cranky and Snooty Villagers.)

Snooty (These Villagers are rather arrogant, and don’t get along with Cranky, Lazy, and Jock Villagers.)

Uchi (Uchi means “Big Sister” in Japanese, they are rather blunt but get along with almost everyone, but have problems with Cranky Villagers.)

I've had Julian get mad at kid cat a few times and he's jock.

Some of my villagers fight sometimes (my peppy has fought with 2 of my normal villagers and one of my uchi) but I haven't had a villager want to leave because of a fight. All of mine who fought are still here lol.

I've had one villager want to leave so far, and he'd only moved in like 4 days before, but I let him go because he was the forced move-in from the campsite and I didnt really want him tbh.

I need Audie to leave for many reasons, I only want one wolf in my town which is Fang, and because she made Flora SO MAD and I couldn't stop laughing but she's getting into fights with many of my villagers which is concerning so she's going hopefully soon!

Snooty and uchi definitely don't get along. Diana and Reneigh got in a fight recently basically because Diana asked Reneigh to dress with a little more glamour and Reneigh was furious at her for wanting to change who she is, it got heated :(

I wanted Audie before, but after reading this I'm not so sure anymore. So it's quite common that villagers get into a fight, but this not actually causing them to leave forcefully because of a fight right?. Will the fights continue or is it just randomly and it will go away after a while?

Ive had shep leave before i got all 10 villagers. I never saw him fight with anyone and i talk to him almost as much as everyone else. I saw kid cat (jock) fight with portia (snooty) once and he left like a few days later. Ive seen rocket (uchi) and claude (lazy) fight a long time ago but theyre still here

I've never had two villagers fight more than once (so far lol). It's never caused them to want to leave for me. I think it's just random. After my peppy fought with one of my normals I talked to her like 3 times and the last time I got some dialogue options that calmed her down and she was fine after that. I don't think one specific villager is more likely to fight than another one, so IMO you shouldn't worry about Audie. I will say it was my peppy who was involved in every fight though lol.

Deidre and Teddy are my starters and they are fine with everyone.
Oh my, I'm going to have some fights then. I got Peanut and Apple both coming in from random islands, and afaik they are both peppy.

Not to scare you but....Apple is my peppy lol

I've had the screen open for about 3 hours because I couldn't make a decision about Apple. But I decided to take her anyways.
I guess this Apple is going straight back into the box when I get the option lol.

Nooo don't worry about it, your Apple may never get into fights! The villagers mine fought with were Alice (normal), Chevre (normal), and Canberra (uchi). Every time she fought with one of them, the thing she cried about was how they don't know how hard the life of a future popstar is (lol). But I think every peppy will say that in a fight because all peppy villagers are really the same, they all say stuff about being popstars so no matter who you got they'll probably all say the same thing. Don't write her off just yet! :)

I doubt villager personalities necessarily feed into it, but I've just had my second villager ask to leave (like, literally a few minutes ago).

Started playing March 20.
Sherb asked to move April 3 (said no).
Wolfgang asked to move April 9 (said no).

Playing daily and no TT.

I've started the 25th, no TT as well and Sprinkle wanted to leave April 9. So it might be random after all? Thanks for sharing.

I have Stitches and Biff (lazy and jock) on my island and they get along great! They frequently hang out together on the plaza drinking coffee, or whatever it is. I guess no one told them they aren't supposed to get along.

My only villager to ask to leave so far is Fuchsia, and I told her to stay. I'm not ready to let go of my first neighbors just yet.

Do you know if Stitches still has the Kiddie style?

I actually have witnessed a Jock and a Snooty getting along :p

Olivia tryin to get BUFF.

There was one night where Papi and Marshal was hanging out at the town center and whenever I walked past them, one of them was always mad. Marshal was mad at Papi for pointing out a stain on his shirt and Papi was mad at Marshal about food stuff. This lasted for like 2 hours where one of them was just angry all the time.

Thanks for the replies, I'm happy that more of you guys experience this (not that I want you guys to have those experiences)

Are styles like Mermaid, and Kiddie styles still exist in New Horizons? I think Zen still exists.

I'm afraid I have no idea, because Stitches is one of my three villagers I got in the whole "build lots and they will come" tutorial. He has the generic house for the lazy villager.
