Villager never moved in ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

Hey everyone, yesterday I traded Tia for Ankha and it went successfully. However, when I loaded the game today there was no plot for Ankha, I TT to the next day and same deal. At this point I know Ankha isn't moving in but my question is why? Did Tia's moving out interfere with Ankha's moving in? I'm a little disappointed because she is one of my dreamies and have been searching her for a while now..

I have never had that problem, but I have read about people here who had the villager move in after 4+ days. I have no idea what caused it, though, but don't give up hope yet.

I once had to TT 4 days, it caused a departure but the new villager moved in.
