Villager Name Pronunciations

The true mystery is the correct pronunciation of Fuchsia. I know some peole say Few-shah but I say Foock-sie-ah.

Fuchsia is pronounced "fyou-sha" :D

And for my other pronunciations:
Portia- Pore-sha
Lucha- Luke-ah
Beau- Bow (THIS IS THE ONLY WAY BEAU IS PRONOUNCED!!)
Chevre- Shev-reh
Eloise- E-lo-eez or E-loo-eez, it depends, some people say it differently
Tangy- Tang-ee
Blanche- Blansh

Lucha is not pronounced like Luka. It's LOO-cha, as in Luchador, a type of wrestler. That's why his house is wrestling themed. Come on, guys.

Portia = poor-sha
Lucha = Lucha (like luchador)
Beau = bow (french originated name, so... i just pronounce it like i would irl lololol)
Chevre = shev-ruh
Eloise = El-oh-eese
Blanche = Blanch (like from Golden Girls)

...that's all i got lol

I posted before but for other pronunciations:

Fuschia: few-sha like the colour
Lucha: loo-cha like luchador
Beau: bow like the French name/word
Chevre: shev-ruh... like the cheese
Eloise: Ello eez
Blanche: blansh? Idk how to write this out lol but like the French word
Viche: vee-shay
Sylvana: sill-vahn-ah

I'm surprised there are debates over some of these considering some names are based off real names/things lol

Actually Lucha can be pronounced as "Loo-kuh", it's a fairly common name and every time I've seen it it's been pronounced as such, but the other variant exists too. I think in the villager's case it is probably "Loo-cha" though given his theme.

Right, I just meant in the case of the villager, it's gotta be LOO-cha, since other villager names tend to correspond with their appearance/theme (Coco looks like a coconut, etc).

Wait, Coco is supposed to be a coconut? Why did I never make this connection before... . -.

Everything makes sense now lol.

It's Porsche- a! I have such a hard time pronouncing their names sometimes so I understand... I can never get Diana to respond lol

I say the names like

Portia: Pore-sha
Lucha: Loo-cha
Beau: Bew or Bow
Phoebe: Fee-be
Tangy: Tang-ee
Chevre: Shev-re
Merengue: Mer-ang-ay

Portia, like the car Porsche. Porsh-ah.

All my villager's names are easy to pronounce for me.

Portia: Porsche-a, like the Shakespeare character
Lucha: Loo-scha
Beau: Bow (like the French word for handsome)
Phoebe: Fee-bee
Tangy: Tang-ee

I pronounce these two like the French:
Chevre: Shev-re (like the French for goat)
Merengue: Mer-eng (like the food)
