Villager moving out through amiibo card?

Ok, so Hamphrey just moved into my very new town. Unfortunately , I forgot to pave over a side of town From the villager that had moved out, and so, Hamphrey moved in to a very bad spot. I ordered Hamphreys card online since I don?t know if I?ll be patient enough to wait for the whole villager cycle to pass after He moves out.

So my question is , can I move him out using the amiibo card to move him in? Does that even work with me trying to move Him out to get the same exact villager to move back in? Or do I have to move him out and then use the card?

No you can't. You need other card to move him out, I believe.

Yeah, you'll have to use a different villager card to move him out, then use his card to move him back in. For example, you will need to use Stitches card to move Hamphrey out, then once Stitches has moved in, use Hamphreys card to move Stitches out, and Hamphrey back in. If you don't TT it will take a few days, as you'll need to wait for Stitches (or whatever extra card you use) to move into their house before you can move Hamphrey back in.

Ah ok, thank you guys for the input. That’s no problem at all really, I’ll use one of the other cards to move him out and then use his (when I get it) to place him back in.
