Villager moving in boxes but didn’t move to island?

Hi, my sister and I were on a ladies island trying to purchase Judy who was in boxes. My sister talked to Judy and it seemed as if Judy was gonna be moving to her island. However we had a communication error and when we checked the open plot of land, it was still empty and it wasn’t sold to Judy. We went back to the ladies island to try and re talk to Judy to get her to move in however, judys house said “I moved out.” Is there any way to fix this?

No, sorry but she gone. :/ I’ve had that happen when I was trying to get Julian, the network error messed everything up. You’ll have to TT and get the villager to move out and find another Judy to grab.
