Villager moving and does not Ping

Once, one of my villagers said Eloise was moving. It took her a day to ping me. Keep trying. She'll do it eventually. And make sure to talk to your villagers, to check they don't think you're tired. If they think you're tired they won't ping.

When a villager tells you that someone else is moving out, its merely a reminder and Rosie will ping you for moving. You can also do the diving - ping trick to be sure she will ping you about moving.

If you haven't spoke to Rosie recently that might be why. Villagers don't ping if they're set to complain about not talking to you in a week.
Otherwise it might just be that Rosie won't ping until tomorrow. I've had that a couple of times ~ usually if someone tried to move out the day before, as the game seems averse to having 2 diff villagers trying to move within 2 days.

I think the diving trick is fake. I think you can actually replace it with any activity as long as you aren't speaking with said villager.
Oh my gosh, this happened to me and I dug through this forums for help. Luckily, a lot of people were so kind enough to help me and teach me step by step.
Make sure there's no event going on at the moment. This was the main reason mine didn't ping me. If there is, TT (if you do) or if not, wait until the event is over. They should ping you.
If there is no event going on, save and quit until they ping you.
