I just got a "ping" from Camofrog who wanted to move out and told him not to. That's fine and all but there are some villagers I want to allow to move out of my town.

My question is: If a villager "pinged" me to move out, is there still a chance for another villager to do the same thing on that same day or do I need to wait until tomorrow before another villager will potentially decide to move out?

Will save me some running around, trying to get a "ping". Thanks in advance!

Only one villager will ping you in a day. You'll need to wait until at least the next day until another villager pings you. :)

What Kitty says. Also, most of the time it takes a couple of days before someone pings you again after you just denied a request from a villager to move. I always TT about 3 days in the future after I denied someone's moving request just to be sure nobody moves out unexpectedly.

First, read this. It's very informative: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/997811-animal-crossing-new-leaf/70326145

So, once you've said no, you're safe for the day. It's definitely possible for someone to ask the very next day--it's happened to me before--and, as you'll see below, starting the next day will mean you have to keep playing until you've denied another move-out in order to take a break from the game.

To be honest, that's not necessary. At the very least, a villager wouldn't leave for another five days. But even still, you could TT a year in advance and there wouldn't be a mover, as long as you haven't played on any other date except the one on which you denied them. It's how you can freeze your game in time without any problems. You just have to make sure you've told someone "no" first. So if you've definitely told someone not to move, there's no way anyone would move out on you unexpectedly.

Well. I found out that to get multiple pings in a day, you can do this:
~go to your town beach
~set your timer for 5 minutes
~go into the water and swim around until the timer ends and go back tot own
~a villager will ping you, randomly walk around to each one and it should work because it worked for me
